William Sturgis was born Oct 3, 1901 at Quinlan OK. He was the first child of Minnie Olive Horn and Charles Urias Weibling.

   He was married Dec 23, 1921 at Durant, OK to Bessie Ellsworth. She was born on Aug 21, 1905 at DeCalb, Texas; daughter of William Ellsworth (born in Eldorado, IA) and Minnie Shaw (born in McKinney, Texas).

   William and Bessie had six children: Beatrice Minnie Weibling; C.W. Weibling; Gilbert Leon Weibling; Earl Richard Weibling; Viola Kathryn Weibling and Darrell Monroe Weibling.
