Opal Rae was born July 30th, at Plainsville, Rock County, Kansas. She was the fourth child of Minnie Olive Horn and Charles Urias Weibling.

     She married Bennie Russell (brother to Frances S. Russell who married Opal's sister, Golden) at Bohann, Texas on October 5th, 1923.   Bennie Russell was born August 9th, 1904 at Van Austin, Texas.- son of James Russell and Ella D_?_.

     They had seven children:

         Jewel Pauline Russell
         James Urias Russell
         A baby girl who died in infancy
         Bendaline Russel
         Bobby Wayne Russell
         Vivian Russell
         Betty Joyce Russell
