Joshua was born in 1852 in Savannah, Missouri. He was the third child born to Charles and Louisa (Blankenship) Weibling. He grew up on his parents farm in Robinson, Kansas. He married Mary L. Glenn, and had four children (Harry, Willy, Marion, and Mae). Joshua's wife Mary passed away on March 13, 1880 at the age of 32. She is buried in Robinson, Kansas. On the 1880 Census of Robinson, Kansas Joshua is shown living with his parents Charles and Louisa with his four young children.
Joshua doesn’t remarry until 15 years later. On August 27th, 1905, he married Phebe Smith in St. Joseph, Missouri.
The 1920 Census shows them living seperately, and states that they were divorced. Phebe was born in 1859. She passed in 1923. She is buried in Robinson. Joshua passed the following year, in 1924. He is buried in Robinson also.
