Edwin was born December 6th, 1837 in York Co., PA. He was
the first child born to John Weibling and Catherine Kleinfelter.
Edwin served in the Civil War in the Army as a Musician, in the 46th Regiment
O.V.I. Band. He enlisted October 16th, 1861, became active February 11, 1862, and was
discharged August 27th, 1862.
Edwin was in business with his father John in Westerville, Ohio. (J. Weibling
and Son).They were furniture dealers. They sold furniture, wallpaper and glass.
Edwin passed away in November, 9th, 1896 from heart failure, in Westerville,
Ohio. He is buried in the Otterbein Cemetery, Franklin Co., Ohio. It is a Government
Headstone (headstone verfies Service in the Army).
His wife Lucy passed away March 23, 1901 in Westerville,

He shows in the 1860 Census, at he age of 22,( living with his father John).
States he is a "Painter".
He is shown on the 1880, Franklin County Ohio Census. (Blendon Township) He
is 42 years old, a "furniture dealer". He states he was born in PA., (as well as
both his parents).
His wife, Lucy (Pingree) age 37 (born in CONN., as well as her parents).
His son Charles is 12, born in OH.
