Charles Urais Weibling was born November 26th, 1876. He was the first child born to William Thomas and Hannah Matilda (Rice) Weibling in Robinson, Kansas.
     The family later moved to Oklahoma, where Charles Urias (better known as Charley) married Minnie Olive Horn, November 7th 1900, in Chandler, Oklahoma.   (Click here to view their marriage certificate.)

Charley and Minnie had four children together:
William Sturgis, Golden Mae, Ruby Fay, and Opal Rae.

     It is said that the family often lived in tents. Charley traveled a lot to find work with the railroads, etc.

     Minnie (Horn) was granted a Second Class Teacher’s Certificate from the State of Iowa, (Appaloose County), on September 28th, 1895.
