Charles Jr. was born July 8, 1861 in
Robinson, Kansas In 1910, he took a homestead in western Nebraska. After the required number of years was spent at the homestead, he returned to the vicinity of Hiawatha. He lived there until his death, February 3rd, 1937. He was 75 years old. His wife Margaret passed away September 7th, 1921. Charles' obituary states that during his short illness, he was taken care of by his nephew Roy Glenn, along with many other family and friends. Charles Jrs sister, Ida Bell Van Lieu, (of Kansas City at the time), helped to make the final arrangements and paid for her brothers funeral entirely. Charles Jr. was laid to rest next to his wife, in Rose Hill Cemetery, Robinson, Kansas. Click here to view his obituary.
