Louisa Blankenship was born in Cumberland county Kentucky, June 20,1827, died July 27, 1895.  She lived in Kentucky until she was eleven years old when she removed to Andrew county, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Charles Weibling April 1st 1847.  Removed with her husband to Brown county, Kansas April 18, 1862, living on the farm on which they first settled until three years ago, when they removed to Robinson where they lived at the time of her death.

Seven children were born in this family, five sons and two daughters, all of whom are now living. Mother being the first to leave the family circle.
She was converted and joined with Southern Methodist church when sixteen years of age.

After coming to Kansas, she with her husband united with the United Brethren church of which she was a worthy member at the time of her death. She had been greatly afflicted for many years, but bore her suffering with Christian patience, waiting until the Father whispered, "That is enough child, come home." This a Christian woman, a faithful wife, an affectionate mother and a kind neighbor is gone. But our loss is her eternal gain.
