John Weibling was born in Andrew county, Missouri, August 14, 1848.  When fourteen years of age he came to Brown county with his parents and made this vicinity his home for many years.  In 1886 he was married to Miss Katie Wilcox.  To them were born four children, Charles Edward, Mrs. Carrie Gannon, David Albert, and Mary Florence, who with the mother are left to mourn his death.  He also leaves four brothers and two sisters.  In 1899 he moved to Washington county, where he resided for six years and then went to Rondo, Missouri.  Four years later he moved to Dunavant, Kansas, and two years later he returned to Robinson, ill in health, to complete his life among the old friends.

He was a kindly man he spoke ill of none--his family have lost a loving father and husband.
