Rites Held For J. M. Weibling

   J. Miles Weibling, 82, a resident of Westerville for nearly 75 years, died suddenly last Thursday at the Blackburn Home, Poland, OH., where he recently went because of ill heatlh.

   Services were held Saturday 2 p.m. at the Fichner Funeral Home with Rev. W. L.Steffens officiating. Burial was made in Otterbein Cemetery.

   Mr. Weibling was in business in Westerville for many years and at one time owned the finest livery business here. In the recent years before his retirement he was in the hardware business.

   He was also actively engaged in community interest, and served as a treasurer of the village for 15 years, treasurer for the township for 20 years, and treasurer for the schoolboard for 15 years. He was a charter member for the local K. of P. Lodge which celebrated it's 50th anniversary in 1938.

   Mr. and Mrs. Weibling celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Feb. 17, 1930. They were married in thier house on Plum St., and lived there the remainder of thier lives. >Mrs. Weibling died in 1932. He was born in Morrow County and came to Westerville 72 years ago.

   He is survived by one son, Merril Weibling of Youngstown and two grandsons, Donald and Paul Weibling.
