Charles Weibling Jr.

OBITUARY

Weibling--Charles Weibling was born July 8, 1861, departed his life Feb. 3, 1937, at 10:30 o'clock p.m. aged 75 years, 6 months, 26 days.   Mr. Weibling was born near Robinson, with the exception of a few years spent his entire life in Brown County, where he was occupied in farming.  In 1910 he took a homestead in western Nebraska after the required number of years had been spent at the homestead, returned to the vicinity of Hiawatha, where he lived until his death.  Mr. Weibling was married to Miss Margaret Lamberson July 8, 1884.  To this union 9 children were born.  Having been preceded in death by his wife, 3 children, Kitty-Bertha, twins, who died in infancy, Earl also a twin, who died in 1918.  Mr. Weibling leaves to morn his departure, 5 daughters, Mabel Johnson, Bell Jarvis of California; Abey Wilkison, Faye Martin, Pearl Cook, of Alliance, Nebr.; one son Doyle, 11 grandchildren, one sister, Bell Vanlew, of Kansas City; 1 brother, Columbus, of Tulsa, Okla., a number of relatives, friends.  Previous to the time of his death during his short illness his nephew, R. Glenn, of Hiawatha, waited upon him almost constantly, other relatives, friends ministered to his needs continually.  Upon her arrival here, Mrs. Bell Vanlew helped to make the final arrangements for her brother's funeral, bearing all of the expense herself.  The funeral services were held at the Radical United Brethren Church of Robinson, the body laid to rest at the Rose Hill cemetery near Robinson.  Rev. R. A. Dodd of Hiawatha, officiated.
